The Department of Humanities fosters and coordinates scientific research and teaching in the realm of Letters, Philosophy, Foreign Languages and Literature, Communication Sciences and Applied Linguistics and Translation.
The Department serves as the hub for internationally acclaimed research activities and houses prominent research centers, a Papyrological Museum, and a Language Center.
The Department facilitates international mobility through collaborative agreements with prestigious foreign universities under the Erasmus+ Programme. Additionally, it offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, including double degree courses in Philosophy, Applied Linguistics and Translation, Technical Translation and Interpreting, and Modern Languages, Literature and Translation.
Furthermore, the Department of Humanities offers two doctoral programs: Forms and History of Philosophical Knowledge and Languages, Literatures, Cultures, and their Applications.
