Presentazione del corso
The doctoral programme in "Philosophy: Forms and History of Philosophical Knowledge", founded in 2001 as an international doctoral programme in cooperation with the University of Salento, the Sorbonne Université in Paris and the University of Cologne, is aimed at awarding, by means of a co-authored thesis, a degree valid in Italy, France or Germany, on the basis of a thesis discussion in front of a mixed commission (Italian and foreign members).
The aim of the doctoral programme is the international training of scholars in philosophical sciences in order to carry out autonomous study, research and teaching activities in the field of the history of philosophy, moral philosophy and philosophy and history of science, within the common European framework of education and research. Teaching and training activities are carried out both in Lecce and in Paris and Cologne. Doctoral students also attend interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary activities organised by the Doctoral School. From 2021 the Doctoral Programme in "PHILOSOPHY. Forms and history of philosophical knowledge' has opened up to the themes of the environment and sustainability, inaugurating a line of research in line with the themes identified by the PNRR.
